Best experience yet buying a new car

I would like to thank Vinnie Capobianco. My wife was considering buying a new Toyota Camry so we went to meet with Vinnie on Wednesday. Vinnie made both of us feel very comfortable and went out of his way to make sure we got the vehicle she really wanted. We never felt pressured or rushed and she was very happy to drive away in her new car today. I highly recommend working with Vinnie if you are thinking about buying a car.

My husband and I bought a new car on 4/30. Alan Tran was our salesman. My husband contacted him via phone before our visit to the dealership. When we arrived, Alan was with another customer, so he put us in the hands of his trainee, Mike. You could tell Mike was new (but weren’t we all at some point), but he was very helpful and friendly. He was personable and very knowledgeable about the features of the vehicles we test drove. When it came time to negotiate, Alan sat down with us and went over the numbers. I was driving a hard bargain and we were all actually laughing during the process. We bought the car for only $500 over what we had decided we would pay. It was a great experience for a woman who to begin with didn’t want to buy a new car. Today, we returned to have the new tags put on the vehicle. Alan installed the tags, ran the car through the wash, and topped off the tank for me. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mike and Alan make a great team.

Very customer centric

Though I scheduled a 1045 service appt. I was 3 cars deep in line outside of the service bay and still out there at 1104. My service tech acknowledged the issue and was apologetic for the delay and seemed fully understanding of time being important. He was very attentive to why I was there and suggested a service which accepted and was very happy with the price and time it took to complete. Additionally during my wait time I asked Jeff Kleiner for help using a desktop to access my work email. He set me up and was great. Overall great service on all counts.

Great customer service

Called Toyota dealer where I picked up the 2018 Camry to ask for a “walk-in” 10,000 mile oil change. Response: “Sorry Sir, we only service by appointment only and we don't have any today.” Called Ira Toyota and made the same request of them, a walk-in 10,000 mile service. Response: “Sure, stop in any time today and we'll expedite that service for you.” Ira's check-in process is what I would call “BMW like”. Very easy and efficient process. Went in to the waiting area, had a snack and drink, checked a few emails, and the service was completed before I knew it.

People at this Nissan dealership are very nice and very professional. My service advisor was Aldo, who was respectful sincere and efficient. I will definitely work with him again. I stopped by Friday night out of the blue just to see what was on the lot, and found a 2015 Rav4 that I liked. When I walked in the dealership I was met by Mrs. Sonya. She quickly apologized for not being outside on the lot when I pulled up. I actually was glad that I wasn't met by a sells person when I first arrived on the lot, it allowed me a chance to check out the vehicles without having someone pushing me towards something that I wasn't interested in. I decided to test drive the car, and while the car handled well I wasn't sold. I liked it, but it wasn't yelling at me to buy that night. When we got back to the dealership Mrs. Sonya ran the sales price for me even though I wasn't sold on the car. I appreciated that extra step she took, and I never felt pushed to make a decision that night. I asked if I could sleep on my decision and I would call her in the morning, and this wasn't an issue at all for her. Called the next morning and told her that I was interested, but had a few other test drives scheduled for that day. Came back about 3:00 Saturday afternoon and I was met at my car by Mrs. Sonya with the keys for the Toyota for a second test drive. We took off for the test drive and then remembered that I forgot to pick up my dad, who was at home due to a back/shoulder injury that prevented him from spending the day with me for test drives. I told her I needed to return to the dealership and go pick up my dad and then come back to finish the test drive. Mrs. Sonya said don't worry about it, just go pick him up from the house and extend the test drive. Not going to lie, that pretty much sold me right there. Even though I was buying the car for myself, the comfort of my parents was an important deciding factor in everything that I test drove over the course of the month long search for my car. I appreciated that Mrs. Sonya understood the value of family. This was my first purchase of a car and without a doubt I will be sending everyone that I know looking for a car to see Mrs. Sonya at Rivertown Toyota, I hope that management understands what kind of gem they have in this woman.

2015 used Sienna in for a few items over a month after purchased. They were thorough, great customer service, honest that one of the issues was caused by them. These guys worked with me so that I could get my car purchased while I was at work. Super friendly and extremely accommodating! Extremely reasonable pricing! We found my car online at 7:00 on a Monday night, and with 1 simple phone call they agreed to hold it for me until closing on Tuesday. all the details were worked out by phone Tuesday, and all I had to do was go sign the papers after work that night. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Walked in having done my homework on the Rav4 I wanted to lease. Met a Salesman, Yuiry who I told exactly what I wanted and how I didn't want to be there very long. Quick drive got a quote and it was very competitive. Finished car shopping in a couple days, called Yuiry back and told him price I was hoping for and they came within dollars. I bought from them because they did not try to drag out the process with all the car sales tricks making you wait and reading the generic script. They were direct, honest, and were motivated to make a deal that was fair to both sides. ZERO pressure from anyone at IRA. Pick up experience and paperwork was just as smooth. Would recommend IRA to anyone looking for a new vehicle who doesn't want the typical BS other dealers put you through.

First Time Car Buyer, Excellent Experience!

Starting with CarGurus.com, I started looking for used Toyota Camrys. After visting several dealers, I decided I would be better off getting an older car from a reliable dealer. Sales Consultant Blong Thao answered all my questions, and after a few weeks, found me a car within my budget that met all my requirements. I bought a 2002 Toyota Camry Solar SLE V6, 166K miles, single owner, no accidents, lovingly maintained, new tires, runs perfectly smoothly. Very happy, and got everything, including 1 year warranty, within my budget. When I went over the car and the deal with my family, everyone agreed I had gotten a very good deal. As a first time car buyer, first time driver, I had to minimize my risk within my budget. I highly recommend this dealership for new buyers. All my questions were answered clearly, succinctly, and correctly, and all the details were taken care of.

I despise buying cars!! At 51 have purchase more than I can recall. I believe I had the BEST car-buying experience to the point. I walked in at 9:35 am about the car I inquired about night before and the following happened: 1. The car was cleaned and ready to be shown 2. The car was the same car I saw on pics 3. My experience here so far has been 5/5 stars. I always make an appointment for my maintenance check up early Saturday morning cause it gets really busy in the afternoon and the traffic gets really bad going down there. I really like how the staffs check up on you to make sure you have been helped while waiting in line to drop off your car. My advisor Neeven is really nice and helpful. I would recommend him to other people. The waiting area is clean and accommodating. It has two coffee machines, self-serve mini fridge filled with mini waters, donuts, cup of noodles, and protein bars for FREE. There are plenty of seats in the waiting area and the dealership side. The waiting time varies but its not too bad if you bring a book or a laptop to chill. I really like their complimentary car wash with an appointment.

Everyone there is very courteous and helpful. Although they do try to push on getting options such as extra protection for your car, but every dealership do that and they are not being too forceful in selling that. The negotiation process is pretty smooth too. I went in for 2.5 hours and came out with a new car which I wasn't even 100% planned to buy that day. Third time's the charm I had to have my airbag recall addressed. I was going to wait on my car so took advantage of the hospitality coffee and donuts thank you. After a complete inspection of my car they also gave it a car wash. Unfortunately when they left it in the service Bay my car has a habit of locking with the keys inside. Our experience from the outset was very positive. We worked primarily with Bill Kinney, Elizabeth Welch and Peter Plansky. We literally agreed upon a sales price within minutes after arriving at IRA. The Highlander we purchased needed to be ordered and would take eight weeks to be delivered. Elizabeth Welch, the sales associate was outstanding to work with throughout the process. She contacted us on a regular basis providing updates on the status of the vehicle. The vehicle was delivered as promised on time and at the cost we agreed upon. We have purchased Toyotas in the past from other dealers and found the IRA experience to be superior to the other dealers. We definitely would go back to IRA to purchase future vehicles.

I've been a Nissan owner for ten years now and must admit, I have never experienced "Sterling McCall," service, prior to moving, to Houston, ten months ago. This will be my second time receiving service, from Sterling McCall. Surprisingly, this visit was even better, than my first. I was immediately assisted, by a service rep and asked about any concerns I had, in regards, to my vehicle, other than what was already reported. I was informed of what services were NEEDED and which could wait, which was refreshing, as I have had prior reps, from different dealerships, attempt to take advantage of the situation, just to empty my pockets. I was then escorted inside and asked whether or not I wanted a refreshment and was given a coupon for a complimentary premium snack. My service rep, Joel M., was both courteous and attentive. As most of us are busy, getting your car services can be a daunting task. Ira Toyota's online service sign up paired with my interaction with George was just super efficient. George was so helpful and even helped me with some interesting key fob questions about low battery messages. He was really helpful and what made my experience even better was the dedicated office space in the waiting area. Working with Tom Funderburk was a great experience. He explained everything to me about my RAV4, help me get Bluetooth and an Entune download . George Maxcy went above and beyond to ensure that I did not have to wait any longer than necessary as I was in a bit of a time crunch. Being a Saturday morning, the service department was much busier than I anticipated. Had a great experience with Virgilio, Curtis, and JV I went here because of the shear incompetence from another dealer I bought a truck from and after having a week of getting nowhere fast I said do I really want to continue this experience if this is how they treat me when I’m buying a truck? So I reached out to the general manager JV who was great in emailing and texting me back late into the evening. I asked for someone competent in trucks as the other dealer had no clue about the Tundra I was buying. Virgilio knew his stuff, everything worked out very smoothly and fairly. Had an appointment to change the oil of my Honda Pilot. After driving 30 minutes to the dealer I arrived and was told it would take an hour and a half to service my vehicle because they had 4 other oil changes ahead of me. I wasn’t happy and left without doing the service and went home and posted an unfavorable review. I was contacted by the general manager who apologized and offered a free oil change and to send someone to pick up and then return my car to me. They even detailed the interior. I went to your dealership to lease a car for my son in his last semester of college. Dealt with Kim on the internet to set up a basic deal which was excellent, got the price and deal I wanted. Management, or whomever The guys are sitting at the desk in the center of the lobby only get 1 star and I'll get to that later. The 5 star rating is only because of our awesome salesman Z whom we will recommend to anyone! My fiance and I went to trade his truck in for something better and couldn't have asked for a better salesman. He was VERY polite, knowledgable, and willing to work with us on what we were looking for. We had what we thought was an issue with the truck about week after our purchase and had to take the truck in for servicing. My fiance and I showed up about 45 min early because my fiance hates being late. They didn't open until 9am, but we walked in around 8:30 because management was there to ask a few questions and with all smiles he spoke with us and informed that Z is usually there about 10 til and as he was our salesman we had to speak with him to get paperwork for service to the truck. No big deal, completely understandable. And we were still early so we went back outside to wait. Around 5 til 9 Z shows up (on time for work) and AS SOON as he walks in we see the manager literally yelling at him because we were early and came in to ask him some questions. This was completely uncalled for! He did not deserve to be yelled at as he did nothing wrong. Even if he was late, or didn't show up, management should NEVER speak to an employee that way! Some people just let a position go to their heads. My fiance and I will be back though, only because of Z!

Yes I'd rather have a root canal than buy a new car. Usually. Because the experience is usually so painful. Completely the opposite at IRA. I was given up-front internet pricing before arriving which alleviated all the typical back and forth. I can't even begin to tell you how fabulous Ira of Manchester was. Our salesman was the absolute best. We tried another Toyota dealer in Nashua and the service was absolutely horrible, so when we walked in to Ira we were a bit bitter but the salesman was the greatest. We got there a little early at 10:45 am and they didn't open until 11....he came out and greeted us before they even opened! He took us for a test drive and he drove first which was great because he could show us all the details of the truck. Let me preface my review by saying that I always dread shopping for cars. I cannot stand the old "let me talk to my manager" routine and I hate feeling like I'm being pressured into a deal. HOWEVER, my car buying experience at Ira was nothing like that. Elizabeth listened to everything I wanted from my vehicle and worked hard to make sure that I got it. Any time she suggested something that I declined, she took the feedback and moved on, never pressuring me to "cave in" on features, payments, or anything else. She has been great about following up w/ me to make sure I'm satisfied and even checked in to make sure my heated seat installation went off without a hitch. Peter was great explaining all the paperwork that I needed to sign. Again, when he offered coverage or options that I declined, he did not push or try to pressure me into anything. It was quite a bit of a wait (3 and 1/2 hrs), but on the whole, a good experience. There's a nice waiting area with a play room for the kiddos as well as free snacks, drinks, and a coffee machine. They've always been straight with me on the maintenance that's needed on my pilot, and only do the work I ask for. I drive an older model, so the repair work can be kind of lengthy and expensive, but they even print out a little packet on work that needs to be done and the severity of the problems. The lady in charge (can't think of her name) is very kind and helpful. She always tries to get you the best prices for the work needed. I used to live in Shreveport, but would get whatever work was needed on my car done when I was down here for visits because their prices were so much better than the dealership there. Check online for coupons and deals too.

Generally, I have a pretty negative view of car dealerships. Ira Toyota rises above that and has impressed me at every point. Before I even went there, my research showed them to have the lowest price points for the car I was looking for, consistently below book. When I reserved a test drive, they stayed in contact without being pushy. The day I came in, the staff moved quickly to show me only th vehicles I wanted to see. The showroom was well-stocked with amenities that kept my son occupied during the paperwork, which moved along at a decent rate. Last, when they discovered they could not beat the rate I had from my credit union, they rewrote the paperwork on their own initiative to get me the better rate. The integrity and professionalism of Ira Toyota is such that I may not have reason to go elsewhere so long as these guys continue setting the standard for what used to be a dreaded process.

Having servicing my Sienna here for a few year (oil changes, recalls, some repairs) and can't say anything bad. Like the option to schedule service online. Car maintenance report at each oil change is handy (I wish they sent it by mail, too, as the used to do). Shuttle service is awesome. Advisors normally suggest things that I'd need to take care of, but they never push services.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my 2012 Toyota Tacoma at Ira. I've been lucky enough to find every car I've owned till now through friends or co-workers. This was the first time I bought from a dealership and I'm so grateful I decided to give them a try. I'd been taking my first prius here for service for a few years, but after I got a couple of off-putting initial responses from other dealerships in the area, I almost didn't even bother calling. However, when I told them what I needed, they not only provided that, they also got me into the car I really wanted. They were friendly, patient, informative, forthcoming, and helpful. I never felt rushed, though I spent several hours trying to make up my mind. I will definitely continue to have my car serviced here and while I truly hope not to have to go through this process again any time soon (my first prius was totaled), I will definitely go back to IToD when I do need a new vehicle.
