There is no better way to start our day than to celebrate others, and some of our favorite people to celebrate are TEACHERS!
SBISD Superintendent, Dr. Jennifer Blaine, Bendwood Elementary School Principal, Jana Bassett, Sterling McCall Lexus GSM, Deborah Thompson, and I snuck into Ms. Diann Rugg’s Early Childhood Special Education class to surprise her with a fabulous teacher’s gift basket, balloons, flowers, and a gift card to treat herself to something special!
Ms. Rugg was selected as Teacher of the Month for many reasons, but her dedication to her little ones and her willingness to help anyone in need stand out among her many wonderful attributes. Ms. Rugg is a constant advocate for her students and her passion to drive their success inspires us!
