Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake recently participated in a food drive and a blood drive exemplifying our commitment to give back to the community. This year they partnered up with the Souper Bowl of Caring, collecting non-perishable items to fight hunger. Shortly after, they received the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center donation coach on site to donate blood.
In total, our team collected 457 pounds of canned and dry goods to the benefit of the Galveston food pantry that received the food items to help lessen the negative impact of hunger in the local community. The sizeable donation was delivered in a Sprinter Van pictured below.
The mobile drive brought community members together to donate blood, saving lives from a convenient location close to home.
