We were thrilled to join Principal, Lynnette Miller and the Administration team when they surprised Ms. Perry with the Teacher of the Month award. Sterling McCall Acura’s General Manager, Anthony Val Verde, had a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a gift basket loaded with fun items, and a gift card for Ms. Perry.
Ms. Perry has been teaching at Hastings High School for 17 years, and her colleagues say that she is not only a dependable, dedicated, and passionate teacher, but she is also innovative in her lessons and fosters great working relationships with students and parents. Each year Ms. Perry participates in the "Big Art Day", an event that exposes students to guest artists and new, creative forms of art, while raising awareness of art education and art as a creative force in our communities.
