Last Sunday the good folks at Gene Messer Hyundai participated in the "Guest Chef" program at their local Ronald McDonald House in Lubbock, Texas. They made dinner for 50 residents: families of critically ill children who are receiving medical treatment at the nearby University Medical Center.
There are Ronald McDonald houses in 64 countries and regions, saving families an estimated 700 million dollars in lieu of hotel costs. We are proud of Gene Messer Hyundai for donating their Sunday to assist, and General Manager Brendan Cimino added:
"We feel it is important to serve the community that’s supported Gene Messer for over 40 years. More importantly, our children joined us to help serve those families whose children are critically ill in the hospital. It reminds us that every moment is a gift not to be taken for granted."
