2008 Full-Year Results
Group 1 earned revenues of $4.5 billion and sold more than 137,000 retail new and used vehicles in 2009.

Approximately 44 percent of revenues and 80 percent of profits came from our used vehicle, parts & service and finance & insurance sales. Group 1 continues to focus on expanding these higher-margin businesses to enhance profitability and stimulate internal growth.

2009 Acquisition / Disposition Activity
Year to date, Group 1 has acquired five franchises with estimated annual revenues of approximately $108.4 million and has disposed of eight franchises with trailing-12-month revenues of $126.2 million.

Group 1 will continue to monitor the market for reasonably-valued, attractive acquisition opportunities that will add shareholder value, while reviewing its current portfolio to improve or dispose of any underperforming stores.
