Darryl M. Burman joined
Group 1 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary in December 2006. Prior to joining Group 1,
he served the Houston office of the Epstein Becker &
Green, P.C. law firm, where he was a partner and head
of its corporate and securities practice. Burman has
gained significant experience in automotive related
transactions including acquisitions, financing and manufacturer
relations with more than 20 years of experience in mergers
and acquisitions, corporate finance, employment and
securities law, working with public corporations, private
equity firms and individuals. He earned his bachelors
degree from the University of South Florida and his
Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of
Law. |
